On February 23, the HVRHS faculty association sent a letter to the Region One Board of Ed containing information on the impact that the block schedule may have on student performance. There is some enlightening information in here and clear evidence that (at least some of) the faculty at HVRHS is not only not on board, they share our belief that the new schedule will be detrimental to our childrens’ education. Pages 1-3 contrast the current HVRHS schedule to the new block schedule; pages 4-6 contain relevant data; pages 7 and 8 list some questions we all should be asking and the remainder of the document attempts to correct information put forward by the administration. If you are unsure on this issue, please read through this document.
